Candid Iniquity,(band)- born October 2007, consisting of the most diverse members all with a passion for music, fuelled by anger, aggression, opinions and beliefs. They have become one of the most down to earth heavy metal bands around! They are here to speak out for people who feel ignored, cheated and failed by today's System. DIRT (band) Dirt formed in 2005 The band very quickly bonded musically and hit the ground running. Where many bands spend a great deal of time in rehearsal before daring to play live, we threw our selves in at the deep end because the live experience is the best rehearsal a band can have. standard tickets 12 VIP tickets 20 this includes devilish delights to munch your way though while we entertain you.

Carnival Macabre Proudly Presents

“Cabaret Phasmatis”
“Cabaret of unquiet spirits”

U4ia Productions presents “Cabaret Phasmatis”, the haunting dramatic encounter with a surprise round every corner. Rose Cleaver, Rianne Ison, Felicity Hoggett, Sophie Barnett, Sheila Atim, Jonnie Riordan, Tom McFaull, Jack Hart and Laura Bourne embarked upon what is proving to be a successful journey together. As the company’s fourth performance, they have surpassed themselves and explored the realms of unconventional theatre further than their previous productions of “Devolution, “Abnocto” and “Nightwish”.

The show tells the story of spirits residing in an old music hall, their tales all different yet equally compelling. The writer, actress, young girl, Master of Ceremonies, journalist, doctor, artist, fortune teller and magician, all of whom have some connection with the hall, wander the corridors re-living the history and never quite laying to rest. Their actions, how they came to be and grim demises are played out as vivid flashbacks, whilst the audience move through the space like voyeurs.

With a self-guided audience experience, the show offers alternative dimensions to traditional theatrical viewing and gives freedom and independence to those who watch. The close intimacy coupled with powerful physical sequences creates that all important bond between each character and each spectator, whether they empathise, sympathise or simply despise

Carnival Macabre was launched

On the 4th of July 2008 I was sent an email.. The request was help needed to put together a Victoriana Spook Show, as a fringe event to run alongside the main WGW -- Whitby Goth Weekend. I took the idea & spun it on it's head & considered creating not a spook show but a freak show  knowing that most of the people I meet at WGW have a slightly alternative sense of humour and not easily offended!! I set out to find professional acts that even I found slightly unnerving!!... Involving the most wonderful & weird acts I could find using drills, glass, bullet catch, fire dancers as well as comically hysterical straight jacket acts & burlesque dancers!! Cramming all of this in to 3 hours of live and extreme entertainment pulled together with a great compare. On the 31st October 2008 Carnival Macabre was launched. A night where the strange and unusual are the norm! The event was a great success which helped to create the biggest WGW to date! I have now been approached by several large venues and clubs across the UK to stage the Carnival Macabre again  so with 4 dates for 2009 already  I am in the planning stages all over again!! I am looking for acts who think they have what we are looking for & would like to be included in future Carnival Macabre events If you are interested or know of an act that may be interested Please email magenta.moon@btinthernet.com with; * A description of the act * Publicity photos or videos * Location and fee

Yours sincerely Magenta.Moon (Jo)
